Job Description       

Our client is looking for an Assistant to start working urgently.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To facilitate registration for approved service providers with Procurement and source training quotations from the service providers
  • To prepare annual training plan and communicate departmental monthly and quarterly training plans to line managers
  • To create training schedules for all departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records
  • To schedule staff for training in line with the annual training plan and send reminders to line managers and staff before training is conducted
  • To coordinate logistics arrangements for training onsite and offsite, including travelling
  • To maintain compliance licenses/ certificates, track expiry dates and ensure staff members are timeously booked for renewals
  • To maintain centralised file for training registers
  • To prepare weekly training progress report
  • Administer learnership programmes (Apprentices, interns and graduate programmes)
  • To prepare training data for Works Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Plan (ATR) in line with SETA requirement and submit to the line manager for review
  • To assist with the development of learning materials
  • To coordinate and facilitate induction programme for new staff members

Key Requirements :

  • Must have mational Diploma in Human Resources Management or Human Resources
  • Must have certificate in Education Training and Development (added advantage)
  • Must have certificate in Skills Development Facilitation (added advantage)
  • Must have 3 years’ experience in a training coordination or human resources administration role
