Job Description

We are urgently looking for a Pot washer to start working immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the kitchen is clean and tidy, equipment is clean and dustbins have been emptied
• To wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans
• To ensure fridges, windows and walls are clean at all times
• To remove waste, placing it in designated pickup areas
• To maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
• To adhere to the health and hygiene standards in the kitchen

Required Skills:

• Must be able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
• Must have ability to follow sanitization procedures
• Must have excellent communication
• Must be reliable
• Must be hard worker
• Trustworthy
• Must be presentable
• Must have ability to work to a schedule and follow instructions effectively
• Must focus on excellence and high quality standards
• Must have excellent physical condition and stamina

Key Requirements:

• Must have clear health record
• Must have criminal record
• Must have clear credit record
• Contactable references
• Must live in the Southern Suburbs
• Must have 6 months experience in cleaning, preferably in hotels and restaurants
• Must have vaccinated against covid-19 or prepared to be vaccinated prior to commencing job
