Job Description

Our client is urgently looking for a Picker to join the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To ensure orders are picked once an order is received via an arm-mount device.
• To ensure that necessary crates are used, and rules are followed at all times, when receiving picking instructions
• To ensure necessary standards of speed and accuracy are maintained, while picking.
• To ensure all goods when picked are loaded into the system guided coloured HU or box.
• To ensure that the completed order is dropped, off at the correct checking area or conveyor.
• Don’t remove stock from the warehouse area, without proper documentation or the approval of the supervisor, manager or pharmacist.
• To complete the daily machine checklist.
• To ensure that specialized procedures and security measures are followed, when picking in areas, like fridge, food or surgical areas.
• To ensure that the warehouse and storage areas space is used in an optimal manner.

Key Requirements:

• Must have Grade 12 / Matric
• Must have 1 years relevant working experience
• Must have Supply-Chain or Logistics Degree or Diploma
• Must demonstrate knowledge of relevant computer packages, SAP EWM, Microsoft – Word , Excel and outlook
• Must be able to capture information and reports
• Must be willing to be rotated to where needed and must be willing to perform any other functions within the department, should the need arise.
