Job Description

We are urgently looking for Insurance Specialist to start working immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To ensure that adequate insurance cover is in place to protect the group against general loss/recovery.
To interrogate and understand insurance policies and frameworks to provide guidance/insights to the group and divisions.
To sign off on the accuracy and allocation of claims/payments.
To deal with general insurance and policy specific enquiries.
To deal with issuance of new policies/ policy maintenance and renewals etc.
To work with the divisions and participate in the forecasting and insurance scenario planning.
To undertake to adjust premiums in line with new asset values.
To manage business and insurer expectations on expected turnaround times for submitted requests.
To provide advice and support in financial practice formulation and associated best practice improvement strategies.
To integrate insurance cover for newly acquired businesses.
Responsible for collaboration
To build and maintain relationships with insurance providers / brokers / assessors to ensure that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
To build and maintain internal relationships across the Group.
Responsible for reporting
Ad hoc reporting requirements for business/ group to be completed as an when required.
