Vacancy Details

Receiving communications from company dispatcher

Driving to the scene of a truck breakdown or accident

Performing roadside truck diagnostics

Performing minor repairs

Jump-starting trucks, changing tyres, and reconnecting truck parts

Connecting the damaged truck with a chain, winch or steering block

Towing the truck to the service station or Depo

Reporting to base and completing paperwork

Required Skills

• driving skills : 3 to 4 years
• truck accidents : 1 to 2 years
• truck loading : 2 to 3 years
• Candidate Requirements
• 3y experience recovering trucks
• Matric
• Experience with automotive maintenance and repairs
• Basic knowledge of truck mechanics and electrical systems
• Valid code 14 license and PDP
• Good communication skills
• Not older than 50y
