Qualifications / Requirements:
- University Degree / National Diploma in Management, Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Office Management, Procurement and Administration
- Experience in supervising staff
- Knowledge of Labour laws, Government regulations, and legal codes
- Fluency in written and oral English and Xhosa is essential
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, listening skills and collaborative management style
- Proven ability to identify and develop processes and procedures where necessary
- Ability to undertake limited travel within the province, as necessary
Key Performance Areas:
- Manage office start-up and day-to-day operations:
- Develop and implement administrative workflows, procedures, and standard quality controls
- Manage company’s office lease in Mthatha and maintain office management systems
- Purchase office equipment and furniture and maintain stock inventory
- Oversee maintenance of office equipment
- Oversee the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of office facilities
- Ensure that the contractor monitors, maintains, and updates computer systems and networks, as well as provides responses to systems assistance in a timely manner to service issues and user request
- Human Resources:
- Coordinate recruitment, selection, and orientation of new staff with the support of Team Leader
- Keep abreast of labour legislation and manage employee relations
- Provide logistical and administrative support :
- Provide logistical support for events, conferences, and workshops including arranging refreshments and venues and maintaining meetings calendar
